He will be happy to answer any and all your questions about our vintage section and product offering. Vintage is characterized by excellence, maturity and enduring appeal. Classic – timeless, Timeless – ageless, Ageless – continual: The BKc. The word “vintage” was originally used to describe wine aging. The term later transported its way into defining clothing of another era. Vintage isn’t always second-hand, there are a small percentage of items stored away that have never been worn which are referred to as “dead-stock”. The idea of vintage is often confused with “retro” which is derived from “retrospective” which is clothing between the 1960’s and 80’s. We primarily focus on vintage from the 1920’s-50′s and also antiques from that era.
