The Bearded Man and Gabe The Great Speak . . . The storytellers of Society Theory present a new series of short docs entitled Grand Master Citizens. Focusing on people that have transcended cool (ha! where do we fit into this) and dictate the trends and growth of their respective fields. This episode brings you the story behind the scenes of The Brooklyn Circus and why we continue to do what we do. Shot in our SF location after the SF Anniversary event, The Bearded Man and Gabe the Great take you behind some of the real inspiration and driving force of  The Brooklyn Circus effort now and forever.

Kohey Where are you? Everyone at The Brooklyn Circus NYc and SF have individually built their fan base and that in part is some of the fun of being at The Brooklyn Circus. So, for the last few weeks we’ve had countless DJs and female fans alike stop by the store with the same question “Is Kohey in today? where is he?”. Well my good friends I am sad yet happy to say that Kohey is in Japan for three months on BKc business. He will be back to the states shortly. To all the ladies, the answer is “NO” to any of us forwarding the picture mail you’ve dropped off, but thanks for all the snacks keep them coming. While in Japan Kohey has made it his duty to visit some of the best specialty shops in Japan aware and interested in the BKc brand, so sit back and enjoy the Japanese attention to details. The Bkc, Brimfield Antique Show: Last week The Bearded Man and Gabe The Great less than 24hrs into his NY arrival, hit the road for The Brimfield Antique Market in Massachusetts. With their vintage and Antique eyes tuned, some comfortable shoes, lots of water and a pocket full of singles the boys went on the hunt. Waking up at the break of dawn to beat all the other serious buyers to the punch, looking for all the right pieces to complete The Brooklyn Circus’ collection of stuff, yep stuff. After 5 solid days of hunting the guys came back with a vehicle full of goodies to add to the archive. Over the next few days, The Bearded Man as secretive as he can be with his finds, promises to introduce some of his finds on the blog. Stay tuned for more . . .

So we decided to create a program to pass on the knowledge that we’ve gained over the last few years on our BKc journey.
