The BKc + Big Apple Tweed Ride: Man what a great time this was, wish every Sunday was that much fun. Since the last Tweed ride in May the word is out that the Big Apple Tweed Ride is an event not to be missed. With that said, we were slightly disappointed that some of you were not in attendance. As the crowd of over 150 + beautifully dressed lads and lass poured into the entrance of Prospect park at the Grand Army Plaza intersection, we had very little time to think about who was not there and dedicate all the time to register who was there. The team over at The BKc NY store was posted at the corner of Bergen and Nevins in anticipation of the first group of Big Apple Tweed “riders”. When they arrived it was The Bearded Man’s responsibility to welcome and entertain them. We won’t drown you with a wordy recap of the day, which ended with a full complimentary English breakfast at Flatbush Farm, the classic yet rustic venue at the corner of Flatbush and St. Marks. We’ll let all the media present to capture the moment do the verbal recap, our job here is to present you with snap shots of the visual nirvana Sunday. BKc Harris Tweed hats off to the entire BKc team and Big Apple Tweed ride planners and participants. Shame on you for missing it, but the next ride is not far away, stay tuned.
