The BKc, Style + Character Academy: Our friend and photographer Marcqui Akins ran into this young BKc chap catching up on his studies and decided to make a photo shoot of the moment. It’s great having such Style + Character filled brand supporters like Marcqui and the young chap who posed for these great images. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a beautiful space such as the one featured in the picture to carry out our “Style + Character Academy.” On that note, we are excited to announce that with the help of some extremely talented friends in education, public relations and marketing we are paving the way to making the Style + Character academy a reality complete with a “Style + Character” road tour. The BKc, Ladies Welcome . . .
The BKc, Ladies Welcome: One of the most frequently asked questions at The Brooklyn Circus is… “when are you going to make clothes for ladies?” and we usually reply with something like… “It’s coming” or “it’s in the works.” Although it is in fact ‘in the works’ and ‘coming’ soon, the truth is we really enjoy the way you ladies put your looks together incorporating pieces from the latest BKc collection. As shown here, Nchimunya (BKcSF) and Autumn (Sir & Madame Chicago) do it all the time, they say “it’s fun, like going through your man’s closet” and “it’s refreshing to try new fits to mix-match with your own clothes.” Well WE can’t necessarily do the same (go through our ladies closets that is), but sometimes we secretly take tips from how the ladies style a BKc cardigan or how they layer a BKc woven shirt with certain colors or fabrics. So take it from these ladies, The BKc Style & Character is for Ladies AND Gentlemen.
