For us black history is celebrated, researched, and appreciated for much longer than a month. It is an everyday ongoing journey into a past that is often muddled in forgotten accomplishments, murky facts, and untold stories. We feel a personal responsibility to shed light on our history, not in an attempt to separate ourselves, but in hopes of understanding and then educating those who may not know. This is why we continue to build a library of words and images that tell the stories of black struggles, accomplishments, and culture.
