The questions and ideas that emanate from this Round Table Session were thought provoking. Bevin and I couldn’t stop talking on the train ride home further expanding on the conversation started within the discussion. I look forward to building a meaningful relationship with all these guys and exploring the creativity amongst us all. Let’s keep pushing boundaries guy and changing the landscape of fashion…
It was something special to be surrounded by the likes of these men (and the 2 ladies), some for the first time and some again. This definitely can’t be a once in a year deal, a monthly gathering would be more productive. Hope you see you lads soon….
Just being in the midst of all these people was inspiring. Everyone chimed in and gave their respective opinions on topics that varied all over. I’m looking forward to round 2 to reconnect with these great gentlemen.
It looks like a great event took place that night. Hopefully the inspiration from here can be disseminated to the rest of the world. Keep up the great work everyone. That being said, although I do love style/fashion I don’t want to be a slave to it. I personally feel that the more you “obsess” about it and try to be something that you really are not then you begin to fall into this slave-to-fashion realm. So one also needs to be careful and just have fun with it and stay fresh.
As most of you are fully aware of, a lot of what we do today and deem avant garde in fashion (and many other disciplines) isn’t really that much different than what has already been done in the past. We are just recreating things and taking them into new areas. Perhaps the biggest influence is in bringing this sense of creativity, manliness and vision to the fore so that we can revisit some of those important qualities that have been forgotten with the 20th century.

Ok i decided to comment on this blog entry, this has to be one of the most intense and thought provoking group conversations ever. It really saddens me that I couldn’t join in and discuss as much as listen and intake as much information as I could. But I will be there for the next one the bearded man got me on that email notification lol.
