The Brooklyn Circus Pop-Up, Build Out 2 . . .
Mac Premo wasted no time transforming The Brooklyn Circus Pop-Up into a simple, clean, refreshing space. After sawing all the wood into manageable pieces he carried each one down the street to 258 Bergen St to start creating. And before we knew it he was done. Luckily the camera caught a few shots of him in action. We won’t give away too much on the blog and spoil the surprise, but we are all confident you guys will love the new space. An official Grand Opening date will be announced soon. Yep! The Brooklyn Circus, Experience is Everything . . .
The Brooklyn Circus Pop-Up, Build-Out . . .
As we mentioned before the build out for the new Brooklyn Circus Pop-up Culture Shop has been going on for the past few weeks. And we caught up with our buddy Mac Premo who will be adding some very interesting layers to the simple white box that exists now. And of course we will be snapping all week as Mac brings the space to life. Yep! The Brooklyn Circus, Experience is Everything . . .
The Brooklyn Circus, Sneak Peek. . .
As summer’s blazing heat turns into falling fall leaves — the changing of seasons always brings a sense of emotions for us. Excitement ensues as we get closer to the cooler weather and the Holidays. But, the craziness and stress follow with packing the day with meetings, phone calls, emails, and executing the next concept. When the day’s over and the green leaf has turned red – we appreciate every part of every season’s creative process. Here’s a sneak peek of Gabe the Great finalizing the small details on a special project for the launch of The Brooklyn Circus POP SHOP. Yep! Experience is Everything!
* A few years ago when our studio was first coming into its own, my partner and I were perusing Craigslist looking for some creative work to offset some of the boring corporate work we were stuck on. We happened to stumble over an ad for t-shirt designers from some company called The Brooklyn Circus that was a men’s boutique shop looking to branch out. It sounded like it could be fun, so we did a few designs for this crazy dude named Ouigi and ever since then, we’ve been very closely involved with all design aspects in the Bergen and Nevins area.
+What are your thoughts about The Brooklyn Circus?
I guess my favorite thing about The Brooklyn Circus is the fact that it allows me to express my creativity and passion for design. If it wasn’t for The Brooklyn Circus, I might still be stuck designing bullshit navy blue and forest green logos set in Trajan for financial advisors and real estate agents. The Brooklyn Circus really helped me break out of my shell and I think that really shows in the way the company presents itself. To me, The Brooklyn Circus represents creativity, passion, and pretty much a love of life.
Working on opening up 258 Bergen into The Brooklyn Circus Pop up Boutique, with a selection of classic designs that introduced The Brooklyn Circus to the retail curcuit. Many of you will be happy to know that along with the classic designs, we are introducing new designs that will reflect the feel of those classics as well as bringing forward the identity of our brand as the fun, energetic, graphic influenced brand you remember from 2006. Yet with a level of sophistication that shows the evolution of our design team, our thoughts and style. Yep! The Brooklyn Circus, East coast, West coast and Worldwide . . .
