Kevin Sanon – When Protest Comes Home

Words + Photography: Kevin Sanon

This was made for those of you that weren’t able to attend any of the protests, for those of you that were too nervous because of Covid, and of what the media was covering. I have here, a collection of photos from the many protests that I have attended. It’s a hardcover physical copy of my experiences at these protests. It keeps the movement fresh in our mind.

It’s beyond just a post on social media. Social media has somehow made things feel temporary, and eventually people forget. It’s human nature!! It can’t just be a trend nor can it be temporary. People are still going strong with the protests.

30% of the total proceeds will be donated to an organization called @colorofchange .. an organization that will continue the movement. Continue to fight the fight for us.

“We help people respond effectively to injustice in the world around us. As a national online force driven by 1.7 million members, we move decision makers in corporations and government to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America.”
