The Brooklyn Circus

THE BUSHWICK B cap. (BKc + New Era).
A nod to a very unconventional and ground breaking team The Brooklyn Bushwicks. An independent, semi-professional baseball team who almost exclusively played in Dexter Park in Queens from 1913 to 1951. They were unique at their time for fielding multi-ethnic rosters, playing exhibition games against barnstorming Negro league teams, minor league baseball teams, and several other semi-pro teams.
The term may be used broadly to include professional black teams outside the leagues and it may be used narrowly for the seven relatively successful leagues beginning in 1920 that are sometimes termed "Negro Major Leagues". In 1885 the Cuban Giants formed the first black professional baseball team.
Rise of the Negro Leagues. ... A turning point for black baseball came in 1920, when Rube Foster founded the Negro National League. An enterprise of black ownership, its early financial success prompted the formation of the Eastern Colored League in 1923

Fit Guide

Athletic Fit: A traditional straight fit with a generous cut, producing a more casual look and feel. Sizing down can help produce a more tailored result.

Tailored Athletic Fit: The slim straight variation of the Athletic Fit. Though similar in shape, this fit is cut to run a little closer to the body, producing the ideal Tailored Casual look. Sizing up can result in a more generous, casual look.

Tailored Fit: A finely tailored modern slim fit that is designed to fit the body as closely, yet comfortably as possible. This fit produces a more polished and refined look, comparable to that of a made to measure piece of garment.
