A Cut in Style-Barber Shop Paintings.
MAC PREMO: U•NI•FORM Collection. We wanted to continue to explore our classic BKc palate of cool greys, scholastic navy and blues, deeply enriched burgundy, paired with our traditional uniform khaki chinos. The result, a color palate and collection very classic to how we communicate as a brand, common in the halls of American schools, American board rooms and American daily life. Every American has these colors or elements of these pieces in their closet.
We explored and continue to explore the concept of uniform because the “uniform” can either be very restrictive or actually very liberating. Very classic, refreshing or very old, very safe or actually BOLD. It allows you to either group yourself or single yourself out- YOU DECIDE. It is so much a part of our lives that we don’t realize that every person, tribe, clan or region sports some sort of a uniform.
Stay tuned for the interview and recap of Mac Premo in his Boreum Hill studio and what UNIFORM means to him.
