Artist Statement: By design mass incarceration is about profit and not reform. The branding of humans as criminals, guilty or innocent. We “the people” are responsible for contributing to this system as we accept who and what criminals look like, dress like, and how we treat them in our communities. The biggest criminals wear tailored suits and not jump suits…
